After casting a joyful eye towards thousands of his faithful followers,
Phil proclaimed that his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers were World Champions one more time
And a bright sky above me
Showed my shadow beside me.
So 6 more weeks of winter it will be.

Apparently some Phil wannabe called Staten Island Chuck in NYC didn't see his shadow, and.....he bit the mayor. So we obviously cannot trust the little rat.

ha ha! too funny! i kept hearing the guys voice from the movie as i read this. lol! except the part about the steelers. ;) anyway, thanks for keeping me posted, i wouldn't have known if it weren't for your blog.
I wondered if I was going to find a Groundhogs Day post and I wasn't disappointed. And yes, lets not trust that other "little rat"!
