more sleep

I slept with earplugs last night.
It turns out I can STILL hear my snoring husband and crying baby.

Any ideas on how I can get some sleep around here?!

Tylenol PM. Except it tends to make it difficult to wake up the next morning. Its beautiful stuff though when you are sick and have the luxury of sleeping in. Except, when you are a mom, do you ever get to sleep in? Good luck getting some sleep!

How close does he sleep to you? Carter, I mean. I've found I sleep better when my babies are farther away from me cuz I don't hear every little thing and they work it out. I'm no expert though... Our little ones sleep in our bed most of the time until they're at least 8 months old. Then it SLOWLY turns into full nights in their own bed. And I mean SLOWLY. Just kick Li when he snores...

Tylenol for me or Carter? :)

Yeah, Carter is definitely too close, but I don't know where to move him to. I guess I'll just keep being nocturnal and sleeping in the day!

sleep? I don't understand that word. just kidding, it DOES get better. have you tried cluster feeding before bed? lots of baby food/rice cereal should fill him up longer. I used to give Paige one formula bottle a day when she was a little older right before bed because "they" say it keeps them full longer than breast milk. occasionally supplementing with formula kept me sane. nothin' like a good nap these days, huh? :)

Make Li get Carter... 2 in 1! Seriously.. Carter may just want to eat.. but if Li gets him he can try to put him back to sleep for you!

Hahaha!!! Do more during the day to ware yourself out. Have Li drink a full cup of water. As far as Carter, baby's gotta need for love'n. Good luck!
